FECOAPI
La Federación de Cooperativas Apícolas Ltda. is a second-level cooperative entity, registered under INAES No. 38661, legally established in August 2010. It was created through the initiative of a group of beekeeping cooperatives from the Province of Buenos Aires in order to address a specific gap within the Beekeeping Cooperative Movement. Currently, FECOAPI brings together more than 35 associated cooperatives located across several provinces of Argentina, playing an essential representative role for more than 1,250 beekeeping producers. The Board of Directors is composed as follows: • President: Gustavo Morteo, from Coop. La Serrana Ltda. • Secretary: Pablo Martínez, from Coop. de Trabajo Naranjo en Flor Ltda. • Treasurer: Helio Casal, from Coop. Apícola Qualitas Ltda. • First Board Member: Daniel Codutti, from Coop. Apícola COPAP Ltda. • Second Board Member: José Vega, from Coop. Apícola de Laprida Ltda. The main objective is to strengthen each associated grassroots cooperative by: • Promoting the creation and development of new beekeeping producers’ cooperatives in different regions of the country. • Encouraging the exchange of cooperative experiences, channeling concerns, interests, and the collective energy of the beekeeping sector. • Expanding and updating knowledge regarding the regulations governing the activities of beekeeping cooperatives.
En la actualidad cuenta con más de 35 cooperativas asociadas, establecidas en varias provincias de Argentina, cumpliendo un rol gremial esencial y representando a más de 1250 productores apícolas.
El Consejo de Administración quedó conformado de la siguiente manera:

• Tesorero: Helio Casal, de Coop. Apícola Qualitas Ltda.
• Vocal 1°: Daniel Codutti, de Coop. Apícola COPAP Ltda.
• Vocal 2°: José Vega, de Coop. Apícola de Laprida Ltda.Its main objective is to strengthen each member cooperative by:
• Impulsar en las diferentes regiones del país la creación y el desarrollo de nuevas cooperativas de productores apícolas.
• Promover el intercambio de experiencias cooperativas, canalizando inquietudes, intereses y toda la energía del sector apícola.
• Profundizar y actualizar los conocimientos respecto de las normativas que regulan las actividades de las cooperativas apícolas.
• Fostering production, purchasing, distribution, and commercialization among cooperatives and the Federation.
• Reducing production costs and improving market conditions through the development of strategies that enhance profitability for producers and their cooperatives.
